Amazing food and service.
We made reservations in the morning for an evening meal, we recommend that.
My partner and I enjoyed a spectacular bottle of wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region along with the beef bourguignon, a wonderful pan seared duck breast, the potatoes gratin and followed by a creme brulee and a strawberry cream special desert.
100% recommended with attentive service and a friendly atmosphere.
If we're ever back in Georgetown, we'll be back!

Amazing place for classic French cuisine. The staff were great, attentive. Service was fast. Place reminds you of a street cafe in France. The French onion soup was great. Not overly salted like I typically get. The sweetness comes through and you get the nice richness from the gruyere cheese. The beef bourguignon is the best I've had. The beef was tender, with strong beefy notes, some light sweetness, and wine added some depth and complexity. The moules frites was excellent, a light dish with lots of mussel flavors. The mousse au chocolate was good, though nothing to write home about. The tart aux pommes was great with its nice buttery pastry and tender apples that again aren't overpowering in sweetness, letting the natural apple come through. Would highly recommend if you miss some good French food. Prices were very reasonable for the quality.

French food localised for the Malaysian palate. Above average taste, with some corners cuts. For example the bread basket was very average, the butter was clearly not French. The bread was dry and overnight
The soups were acceptable but not fantastic
Duck breasts was seasoned well and tasted good
The bourguignon was tasty, but it was quite evident that the beef was of lower quality. Maybe Australian Angus or even local beef.
The cassoulet was all over the place. Yes I know it’s supposed to be a mixed stew, but surely the presentation could be improved. And the accompanying carb be brushed up
I think the menu is quite confused, with French being the theme but they are also offering Australian wagyu tomahawk and Argentinian steak. Why?
Overall good attempt to introduce French food to the Malaysia palate. Be prepared for higher price but maybe that’s Penang for you

Have always wanted to try this restaurant. We just walked in without booking but would recommend to book. We had an early dinner at 6pm and when we left at 730pm the restaurant was full. Pet friendly, dogs and cats are welcomed. I would have brought my dog if he is well behaved. Staffs are friendly and well trained and food arrived almost immediately. The duck meat was very tender even my baby loves it with mashed potato. The Christmas chicken galantina is good too. My mum likes the french onion soup

We like this little French restaurant, and the food portion is just right for us. The restaurant opens at 6pm but we usually drop by around 5.30pm to enjoy our wines.
Most of the staff are friendly and polite, and the lady owner always meet and greet the guests and check on the food as well.
We came here for Valentine’s Day celebration and we enjoyed ourselves very much. The Angus beef was too big for one person, and we ordered two portions. We felt so bad for unable to finish it, though it really tasted good.
Do drop by and try it out if you are around Penang Georgetown (weld quay area).

Enjoyed the French food and overall dining experience. All the dishes were superb. I particularly liked the escargot most - so much so I mixed the butter garlic with other dishes (maybe the French owner will be mortified by this action hahaha), as well as ate the butter on its own. The lamb was one of the best I’ve had ever. Service was great - staff checked in on us, very attentive. Bonus points for staff being quite humorous and relatable

I rarely write negative reviews, but my recent experience at Two Frenchies was disappointing enough to warrant one. For the price point, the food quality was far below expectations. The salmon pasta was particularly underwhelming—just a few thin lasagna sheets with barely any detectable salmon flavor. The duck leg, while the skin was crispy and the meat not too dry, didn’t justify the high price.
The Iberico pork was overly fatty, and while I appreciate an attempt at refined plating, it didn’t look particularly impressive either. The French escargots had an unpleasant sour note, which was unexpected and off-putting. As for the moules frites, I strongly suspect the mussels were frozen, and they were definitely overcooked to the point where the meat had shrunk and lost its texture.
Overall, with such premium pricing, I expected much higher quality in both taste and presentation. Unfortunately, neither met the mark, and I left feeling quite dissatisfied.

Casual French dining. It was raining cats and dogs; and we were looking for a pet friendly place for dinner. Made calls and most said it is raining and their pet friendly dining area is outdoor so not possible. However, Two Frenchies said pets are welcome. I thought we they have an outdoor covered area for diners who bring pet.. but to my surprise we were ushered right in to the restaurant and offered a nice table. We were pleasantly surprise esp when the hostess brought out a mat for my dog. We were made very comfortable with her warm service!
We ordered :
beef burger - it was tender and juicy accompanied by a small Basket of fries.
duck confit - tender and easily eased off the bone with a fork was served on top of mash potato. Comes with a good serving of salad.
sharing starter platter - I love this. The variety was perfect and I would say portion is quite big.
Tomato soup - smooth and light. Quite normal.
Escargot - ignore this in the pix.. wasn’t our order.. we had hope they left it there.
The price is very reasonable for the quality, env and service.
Overall, a great place to dine. Wanted to try the creme brûlée but was too full.
